Gameplay Programmer (Full Time)

Square Root Studios is looking for someone comfortable working alongside other gameplay programmers, sharing tasks and working on a range of systems. You will be expected to work full-time and remotely with a team of roughly 15 others.
  • Great C# and Unity Experience
  • Understanding of how to write server authorative code
  • Understanding of how to work with both client and server codebases
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, self-driven, problem solver
  • Fluent English (oral and written)
  • PlasticSCM & Monday.com experience
  • Experience working with a team
  • Published a game, either independently or in a team

Level Design (Full Time)

Square Root Studios is looking for someone who has experience as a level designer and is not just someone who is familiar with how to use unity and its tools. You will be expected to work full-time and remotely with a team of roughly 15 others.
  • Unity experience working on a 3D game
  • Understanding of art fundamentals such as form, color and composition
  • Incorporate game design elements and implement story within the level design
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, self-driven, problem solver
  • Experience with plugins such as Gaia, Microsplat, Meshbaker
  • Knowledge with C#, tweening and basic animating
  • Importing models (including setting up materials, efficient colliders)
  • Visual FX and shader graph experience (create and setup particles and shaders)
